In a hunting lodge deep in the mountains of Idaho, five people create an organization to wage war against the darkest perversion of men: the sale of a child’s innocence. As they leave, they agree never to meet as one again; the success of their operations – and their very lives – depends on secrecy and anonymity.
Over the next ten years the Hand of Justice scours the globe in search of those preying on the smallest and most innocent victims. Because of the secrecy of the organization, their success is known only by local law enforcement and a team of FBI agents whose jobs lead them to the gruesome remains of the offenders. But that will soon change.
In the middle of one of their largest operations, two events throw the organization into chaos. First, a cell leader is discovered and dies after being subjected to horrific torture. Reeling from this attack, Hand of Justice struggles to complete the mission. Then suddenly and inexplicably, the operation goes wrong, leaving most of the team dead and the FBI in hot pursuit of the sole survivor.
Thrown into a cycle of distrust and confusion, Hand of Justice immediately suspends operations and turns to trusted operative Kane Erickson to find whoever is responsible for penetrating their security. The traitor’s steps lead Kane across the country and he soon realizes the trail could reach as high as the U.S. Senate.
To ensure the continued success of Hand of Justice, Kane must follow the money to the head of the devil and cut it off. At any cost.
I like it a lot. Let us know via twitter when (not if) you get it published.
Congrats on the endeavor, I think all lawyers (or law firm employees as the case may be) secretly dream of being authors, good to see someone who is doing it.
Good luck.
Sounds like a winner! I’ll be following your progress. I’ve written a couple of novels – as yet not paying the bills but it certainly is a fulfilling endeavor.
Thanks Laura, you’re right, it certainly is fulfilling. Hopefully someday we’ll both be paying the bills with our efforts!
Greaty storyline! I’ll be one of the first in line to purchase the book when it’s finished – no matter how long it takes!
