About T.S. Franklin

In the spring of 2008, I attended a workshop by a team at The Tricycle Group (www.thetricycle.com) that encouraged me to think about that which I am most passionate. For me, it’s easy – motorcycles, my kids, writing, and the search for the next great adventure. The next step was to challenge that thought process into an appropriate outlet.

After much soul searching and great conversations with friends, family, and peers, my path became obvious: write the next great novel. No small goal, I assure you!

The next question was more difficult: How does an unknown, unpublished (press releases don’t really count) writer develop the next great literary work? Especially in a world when many are turning on the computer instead of cracking the spine of a book. Again, relying on the information I gleaned at the 2008 workshop, I turned that challenge into an opportunity and am working to build a following in the “social media” culture.

So who am I? I’m a proud single father of two wonderful kids, a 7 year old princess, and a 9 year old prince (just don’t tell him I said so!). I’m also a divorced dad, which adds all kinds of challenges to life but has ultimately made me a better parent.

This blog will cover the journeys (both current and past) I experience as I write my novel. See my first post (http://tsfranklin.com/2008/05/12/the-first-step) for the inspiration behind my work. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to delivering a page turner that will keep you awake at night wondering what you would do.
